In the middle of the night on April 6th 5 perfect little babies were born. Parents are NO*Glassrosens River Song and Let it Snow Supurrsonic*PL, and we are super excited about this combination! We are beyond lucky to have 4 girls and one boy. The theme of the litter is creatures from different cultures' folklore. I have tried my best to be inclusive when choosing which cultures to represent, and show them the love and respect they deserve. This mating is not from PG-lines. You can see their pedigree HERE.
NO*Whimsical's Stallo
Male - RAG n 03 HM - Sold
About Stallo: Stallo is a very sweet boy. He loves cuddles, and is nice and gentle with both humans and the other cats. He is both sweet and gentle, and wild and playful, and he loves adventures outside on the lawn. I really like his type and eye color, and if it wasn't for the white spots on his ears he would be very promising. He is turning into a big boy with a light in colored coat and a heavy bone structure . Stallo has moved to his new home in Oslo ♥
About the name: Our only boy is named Stallo. The stallo is a supernatural creature from Sámi folklore. They can have several different roles and
manifestations in Sámi lore, usually either as an evil spirit summoned by a shaman to hurt their enemies, or as huge humanoid troll. In some versions they can shape shift and possess animals and people, but they usually manifest as half-human trolls. Stallo is bigger and stronger than humans, but also stupider and can be outsmarted and thus defeated. They sometimes eat people and steal small children, and they travel by a sled led by a horde of mice or Norwegian lemming.

NO*Whimsical's Kitsune
Female - RAG n 03 HM - STAYS
About Kitsune: Kitsune is currently the kitten with the strongest personality, and she comes running towards us to play and cuddle. She loves climbing on me and being carried around, and has the true floppy ragdoll body. She is super outgoing and an overall fun and charming kitten. She is perfectly named after a fox as she is adorably mischievous. She is cat dad's fave girl so sending her to a hot family will be hard! Type-wise she is currently my favorite and at the moment she also has the best eye color. She has a perfectly symmetrical inverted V, wonderful profile with a strong chin and good height in the forehead, and great ears. Kitsune will stay in the cattery, possibly with a host family. If you are interested in being a host for her, please message us and tell us about yourself.
About the name: This girl is named after the Japanese fox spirit Kitsune. She has a white tail tip, so choosing her name was a no-brainer. Her name isn't as gruesome as that of her previously mentioned siblings, as the kitsune is usually more of a trickster than actually evil. In Japanese folklore, Kitsune, which is the Japanese word for fox, are intelligent foxes with paranormal abilities that grow more powerful as they mature and get older and wiser. There are many versions and different tales of kitsune, and similar fox legends can be found all over east Asia. Some legends portray kitsune as a shape shifting trickster, some as a malicious spirit and, and others describe them as faithful companions or guardians. Kitsune often take human form, in which they tend to appear as beautiful young women. Every one hundred years the kitsune gains more power and grows a new tail, and in their oldest and most powerful form, they have nine tails. Kitsune is wildly popular in modern day pop culture. The are the inspiration behind the pokémon Vulpix and Ninetales, and played a huge role in the anime Naruto among many, many others.

NO*Whimsical's Wendigo
Female - RAG n 03 HM - STAYS
About Wendigo: Wendigo is not only one of the cutest kittens we've ever had, but also one of the sweetest. For several reason she needed a little extra supervision for a while, and it has made her such an affectionate and social kitten. She literally screams for me to pick her up and carry her around on my arm. She is wonderfully floppy with the softest little body. She is also tough and playful with her siblings. I love, love, LOVE Wendigo's look and adorably squishy little face. She looks a little different from kittens we have had previously, which is probably something that came with the new Polish lines. She has good width in the head and muzzle, an amazingly soft, long coat, good ears and a nice profile. Her eye color seems promising too. She is a little small at the moment, but otherwise I am super pleased about her development. All this being said, her unique personality is my favorite thing about her. Wendigo will stay here with us.
About the name: This girl is named after the Wendigo, a grusome creature from the folklore of the Algonquian-speaking First Nations people of Canada and parts of the US. The wendigo is often said to be malevolent spirits and they are sometimes depicted as creatures with human-like characteristics. They are several times taller than a human, with famished bodies, animal ears and an almost exposed animal skull with large antlers. Their eyes are sunken and glow like hot coals. Wendigo is the embodiment of winter and hunger. They are powerful monsters with a strong desire to kill and eat their victims to satisfy their never ending hunger for human flesh. They are often endowed with powers such as superhuman strength and stamina. One usually becomes a windigo as punishment for dishonorable activities, such as engaging in cannibalism due to starvation.

NO*Whimsical's Dís
Female - RAG n 03 HM - Sold show/breed
About Dís: This little baby has such a sweet, gentle personality. Initially she was most shy and careful of the litter, but after giving her the extra TLC she needed, she has really come out of her shell and is now super confident, cuddly and floppy. She has become more and more self confident and playful, and is such a fun kitten. When adventuring outside she confidently chases flies and butterflies and is truly a fierce huntress in the making. She is nice and moderately typed with a great head structure and profile. She is a long girl with lots of potential. I also really like her coat, light body color and overall expression. Her chin is lacking a little and she currently has medium eye color. However, my kittens' eye color has usually developed slowly, and she does have that promising dollop of darker blue around her pupils. I didn't expect her to develop this nicely, and I am liking her better and better. She has a little dark spot on her hind paw, and one single cute dark toe bean, but is otherwise perfectly marked. She is sold as show/breed to a breeder friend in Finland.
About the name: Dís has a less spooky name than her siblings. We stayed in our own "neighborhood" when we named her, so her name is derived from Norse mythology. Dís is an old Norse word for lady, and in Norse mythology a dís (plural form dísir) is a divine female, spirit or ghost associated with fate. They can be either benevolent or malicious towards mortals. Dísir may act as protective spirits of Norse clans, but they can also sent to do more antagonistic like exacting revenge on someone. In one Icelandic saga nine dìsir dressed in black murders a young man while another nine, dressed in white, tries to save him. Dísir were worshipped in Scandinavia in pagan times, mainly in the form of a sacrificial festival (blót) called Dísablót. Several places in Norway are called Disen, and many female names end with -dis, such ass Frøydis, Hjørdis and Tordis.

NO*Whimsical's Lamia
Female - RAG n 03 HM - Sold shown show/breed
About Lamia: Lamia is a gorgeous girl with a strong personality. From a very young age she initiated human companionship and soon started climbing up in my lap as soon as I sat down with them in their play pen. She's super confident and suffers from some serious FOMO. She demands to be where it happens all the time. She's definitely one of the most outgoing of the litter, very social with the humans and EXTREMELY playful! She's absolutely wonderful and friends with both humans as well as the other cats. She loves adventures on the lawn, she's not afraid of strangers and started to climb trees almost immediately. It's very hard to let her go, but I want her to go to another breeder. Lamia is absolutely stunning, and the reasons I love her so much is self explanatory from her pictures. Her look is just excellent in every way, from her great coloring to her wonderful profile, forehead and chin. Her eye color is medium at this point, but with promising darker ring around her pupil. She has a spot on her back heel but is otherwise perfectly marked with no extra white. Lamia is sold to a small breeder here in Norway.
About the name: This is Lamia. Lamia is a malicious vampiric being with origins from Greek mythology. Lamia was a stunningly beautiful Libyan queen who became one of the notoriously unfaithful Zeus' lovers. His equally notoriously jealous wife Hera was known to demand gruesome punishments for his husband's many lovers. There are many tales about Lamia with differing details and endings, and in one tale Hera catches her and murders her children before turning Lamia into a half serpent half human monster. In another tale Hera steals Lamia's children, whereupon Lamia, mad with grief and despair, gouges her own eyes out. Out of sheer deranged jealousy, Lamia starts stealing and eating the children of others. Lamia kept appearing in tales and legends through the centuries and has evolved from a single character into a collective of eerie female beasts with an appetite for children's flesh; a lamiae or lamiai. These creatures also appear as seductive female vampires with serpent-like features that lures and eats men.
