Zelda, my little Hylian princess, is my latest addition, 2nd generation Whimsical's, and what a dream girl she is! I have dreamed about a perfect blue bicolor girl since I started looking for my first ragdoll in 2010, and she is just that. Type wise she is nice and moderate, with good width in the head, perfectly sized and placed ears for her age, and a sweet, open expression with big blue eyes. She has adorable chubby cheeks, a short to medium long nose, and the characteristic appearance of a flat plane between her ears. Her profile is great, with a high forehead and gentle curve from her nose to the top of her head and a medium chin. She is perfectly marked with a symmetrical inverted V that goes through the eyes, no spots and no excessive white, and her coat is perfectly soft, silky and cool to the touch. This girl truly got the best from both parents. The big open eyes, sweet expression and excellent coat quality from her mom, and the solid build and broader type from her dad. With her 4,2 kilos at only 9 months old she is the biggest and heaviest girl we have ever had. I am very excited to see how her development continues. She will hopefully go to some shows when the time is right.
The cherry on top with this girl is her absolutely lovely temperament. She has the sweetest personality, with the perfect ragdoll temper. She is social, affectionate, and she loves cuddles and human contact. She wants to be as close to you as she possibly can, purring loudly and baking biscuits on her humans. She's playful, funny and adores humans and other cats. She is good with strangers and children, and is everything I could ask for, and more.
Our plan is for Zelda to have a few litters for our cattery before she is spayed. Zelda will stay with us as a deeply beloved pet and friend to Sally and Lumos for the rest of her life. Although I am excited to see what she can bring to our breeding program, we are in no rush to breed her, and she will be our baby for the foreseeable future.
