Mellow Fellow - The Oldest, First of his Name, Heir to the Throne, and mommy's little boy. This is where the madness started! Mellow wasn't only my first ragdoll, but also my very first cat. He has been with me for better or worse for a good third of my life. Naturally, Mellow has a very, very special place in my heart. He is a large, chonky and handsome boy, and has gotten some really nice judgements at various cat shows. He has earned the title International Premier, but is now retired. Mellow has a strong, lovely personality and a fantastic temperament. He is mommy's little sweetheart ♥ Mellow has never been bred, and has lived all his days as a happy neuter!
On September 16th 2023, we unfortunately lost our dear Mellow. He was almost 13 years old and suddenly got super sick. He was diagnosed with advanced kidney failure, which unfortunately is what gets most elderly cats in the end. We tried saving him, but the disease was too advanced, and he died after one night at the animal hospital. Losing him broke my entire heart, and I will never get over him. Grief is love with nowhere to go, and is the price we pay for love. And no cat has ever been more loved than Mellow Fellow ♥ I am so thankful that I got to be his mom and favorite human for over so many years. It was truly an honor.
